About the Grid

GreenPoints the unique gift idea
The grid is a graphical representation of the land in Tara Queensland. It indicates the exact coordinates of each GreenPoint.

The grid consists of three parts: the GreenPoint grid, the location indicator, and the navigator.

The GreenPoint grid

The Greenpoint grid shows 12 x 12 square meters of land. Each square meter represents one GreenPoint:

The GreenPoint grid

The horizontal and vertical axes indicate the coordinates of a GreenPoint.

GreenPoint coordinates are as follows:

TARA-A11-020-016

'TARA' stands for the Tara project, and the 'A11' following that, shows the area where you are in. The area is shown in the upper left of the GreenPoint grid. An area is nothing more than a subdivision of the land, that we use for planning the greening activities. We have given these areas names like 'Koala Corner' and 'Wombat District' .
The next number '020' is the x-coordinate in this specific area and is shown on the horizontal axis. The last number '016' is the y-coordinate in this area and is shown on the vertical axis.

Inside the grid the following symbols are used:

= free / available
= reserved
= border

= reserved for you
Name of owner = occupied / sold

Holding your mouse over the 'occupied / sold' symbol will show you the name of the owner of the land with this location. You can also click on it to see more details about the owner (if provided).

The location indicator

The location indicator shows the location of the selected GreenPoint in latitude and longitude coordinates:

The location indicator
If no specific GreenPoint is selected, the coordinates of the GreenPoint in the top left corner are shown.

The navigator

The GreenPoint navigator allows you to jump to another block of 12 x 12 GreenPoints

The navigator
The small red square indicates the current block.
The gray squares are actually not for sale yet.
Each time an "active area" (lie the Koala Corner) is filled up, one of the other areas will be made available in turn.
Note: Not all available land is actually shown in the navigator.
