Occidental Cozumel Resort Diving into Sustainable Tourism

The role of Occidental Cozumel Resort and ProDive is to sponsor dive trips to areas suitable for planting and reproduction of the Acropora Cervicornis (Staghorn Horn) species. It has been an enriching experience that has allowed team members to learn first-hand about the scientific and community work being done to rescue these vital ecosystems for marine biodiversity and the territorial protection of the island from threats of meteorological events.
