Regensburg Tourismus GmbH Taking Sustainable Measures

Regensburg Tourismus GmbH (RTG) is committed to sustainable tourism in a variety of ways and in recent years has launched numerous projects and initiatives. RTG has been taking small steady steps along a long path in order to move closer to this goal

Key measures include the sustainable evaluation of events, conferences and congresses using the independent Green Score Card evaluation and measurement tool. This concept was awarded the ADAC Tourism Prize, Special Prize for Sustainability, in 2019. RTG is also a member of the OHA! business initiative and has calculated its own carbon footprint. In addition, RTG has already been audited twice for the Economy for the Common Good and has produced a sustainability report based on the Economy for the Common Good.
