Royalton Bavaro Recycles for Carbon Reduction

In one year Royalton Bavaro, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino, located in Punta Cana, reduced its carbon footprint through recycling actions carried out within the property to mitigate climate change. 190 tons of materials were recycled including paper/cardboard, plastics, aluminum, iron, glass, and vegetable oil. This sustainable waste management practice has resulted in the equivalent of saving 1,044 trees, more than 205,000 KWH, 2,822,669 gallons of water, 171 barrels of oil, 691 cubic meters of landfill, or 562 cubic meters of CO2 not produced.
