True Blue Bay Boutique Resort: Community Care in Grenada
True Blue Bay Boutique Resort’s Green Team members enthusiastically conduct regular beach and roadside cleanups with members of the community to encourage responsible actions and promote cleaner environments. In addition to its environmental efforts, True Blue Bay Resort plays an active role in encouraging inclusivity and social responsibility. The resort partners with local businesses, providing them with a platform to showcase and sell their creations and products. True Blue Bay has partnerships with local cocoa farmers who run farm tours for guests and the resort hosts the Grenada Chocolate Festival each year to highlight delicious high quality chocolate.
The resort also supports community programs that assist disadvantaged youth in Grenada. Initiatives that support local children and provide long term benefits include Pack for a Purpose, the Vencome School Project founded by owner Russ Fielden, the Grenada Community Library and the Queen Elizabeth’s Home for Children which holds its annual Christmas party at the property.
